Friday Favorites {2.28.25}

 Happy, happy Friday!! And happy last day of February! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites!

Ok, first up...

I ready a reeeeaaalllyyyy good book this week! I haven't read a book in a while, and my goal is to read a bit more in March, so I hope to have a book review post at the end of the month!

I have gotten dressed in something other than leggings I think every day this week! I didn't take any pics- oops- except for yesterday....

Ok, if y'all aren't following Catherine, mixandmatchmadness on IG, you should! She's always got the cutest outfits and accessories. But anyway, I wanted to try and recreate an outfit she posted on her stories.

Here is her version.

And mine....obviously not as bright colors, but I think the style is there with the eyelet detail top, jeans, and sneakers!

Another fashion fave....

After seeing the Colette cropped pants from Anthropologie literally everywhere for the last week or so, I decided I must need a pair. Mine are the dark blue "Magic Fabric Edition", and I have to agree- the fabric IS magic. They almost make me feel like I'm not even wearing any pants 😂. They are SUPER stretchy, so comfy, and so cute!

I think these are perfect for literally any occasion or activity! I got my normal size, but I probably could have gone down one- again super stretchy! I am 5'9" and got the regular length. They come in sooo many different colors, patterns, fabrics.

Ok I guess this is going to be a very fashion filled post! I mean, I'm okay with that 😂.

I have been wearing these a ton the past week! They are Kathryn Robnett Designs. I want some more pinks and some brighter colors for spring and summer!

Have a great weekend!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
