Hello Monday {2.10.25}

 Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! As always, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday.

I started my Friday off with this being delivered. Have y'all heard of it or taken it before? I definitely do not recommend just pouring the powder straight into your mouth. I have been mixing it in with a flavored water packet.

I think this *might* be our new Friday night ritual. We are obsessed with Chick-fil-a lately. Caleb loves the spicy grilled sandwich. I also tried the key lime lemonade, and it's really good!

Saturday morning! Y'all, I slept until 9:37.

I wore my new jeans again! I also tried them on with my new Tom's sandals, and I think they look cute together!

We took an Impromptu trip to Tupelo. I grabbed a couple of candles from Homegoods!

On the way out, we stopped by Caleb's favorite place to get soft serve ice cream. This may or may not have been our dinner- ha!

Sunday morning we went to church.

We had lunch at one of our favorite spots and then did our grocery shopping afterwards. (p.s.- can you believe no Mexican this weekend???)

We had sausage balls and buffalo chicken dip for the game!

I also made this little dessert I saw on Tik Tok. Melt chocolate chips, spread it in a thin layer, and freeze. Cut up strawberries in small pieces, stir in a little sugar, and refrigerate. After a few hours, take the chocolate out and break into pieces. Use the chocolate as chips to scoop up the strawberries! Easy and delish!

This made me LOL. #imisstheerastour #sigh

Guy on the chiefs!!! I'm a little sad for the Chiefs, but I'm happy for the Eagles- I'll always be a fan of A.J. Brown!!

Have a great Monday!!

    1. Thank you! I got the belt years ago at the Tory Burch outlet. It's reversible and the other side is pink! I believe they still make a similar style.

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
