Hello Monday {2.24.25}

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share about my weekend.

On Friday I made this little snack plate for while I did some school work.

I came across this on IG and could not agree more! Bring on SUMMER.

We packed up and headed to Madison for Taylan's last basketball game.....

Go #22!!

Ains was the only one who slowed down for me to take a pic! I had just given her those little pink hoops and she's too cute in them!

Saturday morning, Caleb and I headed to The Blend to get some teas before we headed out to my brother Jake's baseball game.

This pic was taken after I finished my tea and refilled with water....I have to get every last bit of flavor left 😂

Game time in my cute bracelets! I found these through Erika (A Little Bit of Everything Blog). My mom and I both love these bracelets!

And guess who got to come to the game! Reid LOVES to watch Jake play, whether it's football or baseball. He also filled us in on what's going on in his little life.....school, his pet turtle Sheldon 😂, his new baby cousin....all the things! I can't believe he will be 6 soon!

Go #13! I told my mom I should be using up my leftover 13 tattoos from The Eras Tour for all of Jake's games!

First crawfish of the season!! We had "family dinner" with our best family friends- so much fun and such good food!

Sunday morning we went to church with our families.

We had lunch with Caleb's family at one of our favorite spots.

And then not too long after, we headed back home. It sprinkled on us pretty much the whole way home.

Once we were home, Caleb headed to the grocery, and I did school work. Ice cream really helps get it done 😉.

I hope you all have a great Monday!!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
