Hello Monday {2.3.25}

 Happy Monday, friends! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend!

My Friday morning started off quite lovely.....

Fresh flowers, coffee, banana bread, a slow morning! Around lunch, we hopped in the car to head to Nashville for a FUN night!

I'll share more tomorrow, because I think it deserves its very own post. BUT, here's a little sneak peak! Spoiler: it was a blast!

Saturday was filled with shopping! Y'all know I love some Nordstrom shopping. I could literally spend a whole day in there!

Ok, have y'all seen these Diptyque candles? I am now obsessed! I have literally always always always loved a candle. But let me tell y'all, the best sales associate helped me pick one out, and that just made it so much better! If you ever go to the Nashville location, her name is Lokelani. And, she told me she's working on a cookbook. I found her on Instagram and found that she also has a hemp infused ice cream brand. Anyway, this candles smells amazing! I know what's going to the top of all my birthday and Christmas wish lists- ha!

If you know, you know. We had Mexican for lunch! This is El Palenque over in Green Hills by the mall. It's so good!

A little funny dressing room moment. My sister has been wanting some Vuori leggings, so she tried on a pair. I just so happened to have mine on too, look at the color difference 😂. I have had these for several years and have washed and dried probably 300000000 times- ha! Guess I'm due for a new pair too!

I got no pics of our dinner, but we got takeout from Teriyaki Madness. If you have one near you and haven't been yet, definitely try it! It's so good!

Sunday morning, my dad made us breakfast before we headed out. Before we left town, we had to make a stop at.....

Trader Joe's! Caleb and I went ahead and did our shopping for the week. Woohoo! I'll give a full haul later this week!

And as I am typing this......

Grammy time! Taylor literally never misses when it comes to fashion in my opinion!

I hope you all had a great weekend and have a great start to a new week!

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
