Hello Monday {3.24.25}

 Happy Monday!! How was your weekend?? I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share all about mine!

Well, y'all know the drill...

No surprise here....Friday night Mexican! Always going to be my fave. Wonder how many pics I have on my camera roll that look exactly like this??😂

Saturday OOTD. Ran a quick errand, grabbed Chick-fil-a for breakfast, and then waited on my mom, Mimi, and Libbey to get to my house!!

While I waited on my fam, I painted my nails. Another bright color! This one is L.A. Colors Hyperactive. SO bright!! I also sat on the back porch for a bit since it was so nice!

Look who surprised us!! We celebrated Mimi's birthday with lunch and shopping!

While we shopped...

Caleb took Reid to check out a job site and fly the drone! Reid was definitely in "big truck" Heaven!

That night we had quesadillas for dinner- I did Trader Joe's jalapeño sauce (which is so good and spicy!), leftover chicken, black beans, and lots of cheese! Dipped in Taco Bell sauce. So good and easy! We always make them on our panini press which makes things even easier.

We had a super slow Sunday morning. I had coffee in bed!

BBQ for lunch and grocery shopping after!

And that was our weekend! Have a happy Monday!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
