Hello Monday {3.3.25}

 Well hello Monday! Today is a special day for me- I am 25 today! I'm honestly not too sure how I feel about that ๐Ÿ˜‚. I have a separate special birthday post also that you can check out here.

As for this post, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah! So, here was our weekend...

Friday morning coffee! I am so missing Disney lately, so a princess mug it was!

My breakfast. Boiled eggs, salt, pepper, hot sauce. My favorite way to eat eggs!

My ootd. I snapped this as we were heading out for dinner. I look like I'm ready to hop a plane, right??

No plane, but Mexican food for dinner! YUM.

Very blurry pic, but we grabbed dessert at Dairy Queen after dinner.

We watched National Lampoon's Vacation, which I guess we had never watched before. It was SO funny!

Saturday morning coffee and getting ready for a fun day!

We got in the car and headed out on a day trip....

Loaded teas and good company all day! My sister had a spring open house at her nutrition store, so we spent the day hanging out there.

And then we had a bday lunch for me at Aplos. SO good.

We did a little shopping. It was such a pretty day!

And then we were back home that night. We grabbed Zaxby's for dinner when we got back into town.

I read a little bit.

Sunday morning we went to church. And heard WAY too many coughs all around us ๐Ÿ˜‚.

We had lunch at The Grill.

We did our grocery shopping after lunch. And of course I found a candle at Kroger. It smells so good! The scent is Sweet Dreams.

My post church ootd. I am living for this slightly warmer weather we are having!

I read for a bit.

I turned on The Oscars mainly to watch this duo! It was, of course, amazing! I keep forgetting about Wicked Part II, but I am so excited for it to come out!

And that was our weekend! I hope you all have a fabulous day!

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
