Easter Basket Ideas

 Happy APRIL!! Since Easter is quickly approaching, I am sharing some things that I think would be good Easter basket options!

1. Ryan and Rose cross bracelets

I love these little bracelets! There are small packs or big packs that can be divided among your boys or girls, young or older!

2. Nail polish

This is one that I always looked forward to being in my Easter basket! Bright colors or pastels...either are perfect for spring/summer.

3. Swim suits

Another one that was pretty much always in mine and my sister's baskets! Great for all ages and genders too!

4. A new bible, devotion, notebook, journal, coloring book, book to read, etc.

Something to write in or read is always a good idea in my opinion! I usually see lots of cute journals, devotionals, etc. in boutiques or other small businesses.

5. Candy

Can't forget the chocolate bunny, egg carton gum, and jelly beans!!!

 Happy Friday, friends!! Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
