Hello Monday {4.28.25}

 Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! As always, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today for Hello Monday.

I had a solo weekend while Caleb was on a fishing trip! Here's how I spent it....

Friday morning coffee and watching the rain. Love! Then, I caught up on school work all day since I was sick all week.

Solo Friday night = Chick-fil-a dinner! I had a brownie and (decaf) coffee for dessert and watched Something Borrowed- a favorite movie of mine!

Once I got in bed I watched approximately 1 million episodes of Four Weddings! That was one of my favorite shows growing up.

Saturday morning coffee and devotional. I had a couple more school assignments to do, and once I finished those I went to Ulta a picked up a couple new nail polishes! Then I ran by Chick-fil-a and got a Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy (diet lemonade and sweet tea- SO good!).

Plopped myself on the couch when I got home and restarted The Summer I Turned Pretty.

Had some popcorn...I am addicted to this seasoning!

And then it was wine time!

I also painted my nails- OPI Strawberry Margarita! Always a fave.

Sunday morning I decided to make a pot of coffee instead of my usual K-Cup. Later in the day I realized I only did one scoop when I should have done 3 or 4 😂. 

First order of business when Caleb got home....

Mexican. DUH. 😂😂

Then we grocery shopped.

I have been wanting a carrot cake so bad, so I finally grabbed one at Kroger. YUM.

Made another pot of coffee (with the right amount of grounds this time!) and enjoyed my cake while watching more of TSITP. Literally did nothing else the rest of the day- ha!

 Happy Friday, friends!! Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
