Hello Monday {Easter 2025}

 Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about ours.

Started off my weekend with this cute new dress from Old Navy! Goodness, they have some cute dresses right now!!

We grabbed Chick-fil-a on our way out to Madison. YUM.

The sweetest little buddy. He is always down to hold hands!

Got our teas and ready to head to Hattiesburg for an egg hunt and family reunion!

Again...I mean, melts my heart.

He took me riding on the side by side. He actually drives it really well and knows all the trails. He's growing up way too fast!

Had to stop and tell me about all the snakes in the woods.

Egg hunt time! He was so determined to find a gold egg, and thank goodness he did!

And then he had to fish.

We dropped Reid back to his mom and grabbed a coffee. This place is on 49 in Hattiesburg- so good!

Dropped by to see my brother and his girlfriend before their senior prom.

Ok, Holly this is for you! Got my Mexican fare!! Thursday AND Saturday- a win!

Sunday morning with our fams! Praise God for the empty grave!

We went over to a friends house for a delicious lunch! And a delish cheesecake for dessert!

Laid out by the pool for a bit. And got burnt. Boooooo.

Then it was time to head back to Starkville.

My car snack! Very festive! By the way, the Dove chocolate bunnies are the BEST.

Stopped for sushi on our way in!

And then we were in bed at 7!

Such a great weekend! Have a happy Monday!

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
