Hello Monday {5.12.25}

 Happy Monday!! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend- lots of fun was had for sure!

Well, y'all know the drill. We were in town to have Friday night Mexican!! Spicy marg for me and lots and lots and lots of chips!

We watched Ocean's 8 after dinner- we had never seen it before. I thought it was really good!

Saturday morning I slept in a little and then hopped on the Peloton bike. Full review to come soon- so far, we are loving it!

I showered and painted my nails, then did my makeup before....

Wedding time! One of Caleb's cousins got married Saturday night. The wedding was outside, even though it was raining. We opted to stay inside and watch from the windows.

I guess I was too hungry and too excited to eat to grab a picture of my food- ha! I looooove wedding food. When Caleb and I were getting married, our wedding planner said that no one has ever left a wedding saying it was the best meal of their life, so don't stress about that part too much. But y'all, my favorite part of a wedding is the food 😂

Sunday morning, we headed to church and then had lunch with Caleb's mom at her very favorite place.

Then we headed out to my mom's to visit with her! It was a great day celebrating the wonderful mom's in our life!

Car picnic on the way home! If you know, you know. My mom got us some tuna, bagels, and bagel chips from our very favorite- Beagle Bagel! YUM. We definitely have lots of good leftovers to eat on this week!

Have a great Monday!!

  2. Wonderful photos. My cousin had rain on his wedding as well and while it wasn't how they had hoped it would go everyone made the best of it and it almost made it more memorable.

  3. What a fun and full weekend. I'm sorry it was a rainy wedding but it sounds like everyone enjoyed it anyway. Our wedding day was pouring rain too but it held off until just after our photos so I was grateful for that!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Please, please, please educate yourself on what it means to have Autism, how to explain it to your children, how to advocate, how to include, how to help- all the things!! Please remember, if...

Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
