Hello Monday {5.5.25}

 Happy Monday!! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend! It was a busy but fun one!

Friday afternoon, I packed up and headed out. That night, I went to dinner with my sister and her bf and some of their friends. We had lots of crawfish....SO good! And we stayed out way past my bed time- ha!!

Saturday morning coffee at Mimi's!

Lib picked me up to head to The Blend! She had another open house at her store. My (first) tea! Yep, I had two...ha!

Me, mom, Mimi, and Lib all got matching permanent bracelets- the bright colored one! So fun!

After the open house, we headed to Homegoods and then Costco.


We had street tacos for dinner. Always so good!! If y'all haven't had these from Costco, you need to try them! I think Sam's has a version too.

After dinner and showers, my mom and I watched Wicked. We saw it together years ago on Broadway, so it was fun to watch the movie together! Neither of us can really remember anything from the stage production...except that we know it was really good lol!



Sunday morning we headed out to go to my brother's church for his senior Sunday.

Once we got back, I packed up and headed home. I hope you all have a great Monday!!

    What a great family weekend! You would've loved the Mexican fare at Taco Mundo in North Myrtle Beach SC- your street tacos, though, look yummy!

 Happy Friday, friends!! Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
