Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.
How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed!
Lots of food faves this week....
Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner!
Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation.
Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt and pepper.
I made Rhonda's famous chewy chocolate chip cookies this week!

Super easy and delish baked oats! My mom's friends makes this for us, and I made them a couple of times this week.
The recipe is....
1/2 cup of oats
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
touch of maple syrup (I used honey!)
Blend everything together and bake for 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven
Wednesday was our three year wedding anniversary, so we celebrated with dinner at 44 Prime. It was SO good!
I was too busy making a Tik Tok of our food to grab pictures 😂. We had a tuna dip, I got rainbow trout and potatoes au gratin, Caleb got a filet and 4 cheese mac and cheese, and we had a giant red velvet cake for dessert! YUM.
And last but not least, I found three fabulous candles at Marshalls!
They all smell sooooo good! Did I need them? Absolutely not. Do they make happy? YES. Ha!
