Hello Monday {6.16.25}

 Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! As always, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday.

Our Friday evening was pizza and wine. YUM.

I did a little trip planning!

Caleb had to work on Saturday, so we had a car picnic at his job site for lunch. Wingstop has become one of our faves recently!

Saturday evening, we went to the movie theatre.....

We saw Materialists. I wanted to love this so much. The trailer looked great, the reviews I had seen looked great, but y'all....it was SO boring. Caleb said it felt like they were reading straight from the script. The storyline was not great either. And I hated the ending. Ugh. Have any of you seen it? What did you think??

Mexican after made it all better 😉. The theatre is right behind our fave restaurant, so we had to, right??

Spicy marg and traditional Mexican tacos have been my go to lately! Yummmmmm.

And then we got milkshakes at Cookout after dinner.

Sunday morning ready for church!

It was a very rainy day, so I made another cup of coffee and got cozy after lunch.

But this needed to happen....Such fun.

I was so dang tired, so I decided on an iced coffee this time! We didn't really do much else the rest of the day, but it was nice to relax! I recently started watching Black-ish, so I watched that while Caleb watched golf.

Have a happy Monday! I will see y'all back NEXT Wednesday, 6/25. I'm headed out of town for a super fun girls trip!!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
