Hello Monday {6.30.25}

 Happy Monday and happy last day of JUNE! This year is truly flying by! As always, I am linking up with Sarah and Holly to share about my weekend!

Friday morning started with coffee in my fave new mug!

I caught up on my school work and then started my evening with a glass of wine!

Pizza and wine is our new Friday go to! Aldi didn't have our favorite pizza last week, so we got a different brand....it just was not as good. Am I a frozen pizza snob now???😂

My Saturday night cooking look....

I made salmon and squash casserole. YUM.

Ice cream and Modern Family=the perfect ending to a Saturday!

My Sunday stack from Kathryn Robnett! Such fun accessories at a great price!

After church, lunch (we had Mexican- how did I forget a pic??), and groceries, I did my nails. I'm on the hunt for the perfect light pink. This is OPI Mod About You. I like it, but I want something a tad lighter. Any suggestions???

And that's a wrap on another weekend where I was bad at taking pics- ha! Have a happy Monday! See y'all Wednesday- I'm sharing all about our trip to Charleston!

  1. Your squash and salmon looks so delicious! I love a pale pink polish that nearly looks white like Baby Take a Vow.

Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
