Trader Joe's Haul

Happy Wednesday! This past weekend, I made a trip to a new to me TJ's location! It was by far the CUTEST Trader Joe's I have ever been to, plus I got some great things! Here's my haul....

This was not on my list, but it caught my eye. It was good! I would definitely get it again!

All of these are FABULOUS! The body scrub smells amazing and makes my skin SO soft! The lip mask is, in my opinion, BETTER that Laneige...it's not as thick and sticky which I love!! The bath fizzers smell soooo good!

Y'all know me, I had to have a candle! The scent is very fresh and floral- they definitely named it well!

I am absolutely stocking up on more of this hand soap on my next trip! Such a good summer scent!

I grabbed a bag of pasta for one of our dinners this week.

Pita bread for chicken gyros!

I have gotten these before- they are really good!

Patio chips are back!! I learned from a girl on Tik Tok that the factory where these are made burned down last year, so that's why they weren't in stores last summer- the more ya know!!

My current hyper fixation is flavored coffee! This one is very subtle with the vanilla but really good!

Baguette to go with our pasta. YUM. I dipped mine in a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar!

For the SAUCES. All of these were on my list except for the BBQ- that just caught my eye in the store, simply for the fact that it's Kansas City style. If you know, you know. Please tell me y'all know😂.

I grabbed this jasmine rice for beef and broccoli bowls one night. The soyaki sauce and coconut aminos above will go in this!

Kid at heart! I love their apple sauce pouches!

Another thing that was not on my list but caught my eye!

I've been wanting to try some of their seasonings, so I went with these two!

This went in the pasta...I'm not sure I really love it honestly.

For the chicken gyros. Yummmmmm.

And I always have to grab cheap wine! That rosé was a find from my trip before this one, and I loved it so much. Such a good one to sip on or have with dinner. The other two are new to me!

And praise the Lord they had peonies!! Pickings were slim, but these sure are pretty!!

I would say this was a really great haul! I found a few new things, grabbed some tried and true faves, and some random items!

Have a great Wednesday!

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
