A Day in Fairhope, AL

 Happy Wednesday!! On Monday, my mom and I drove down to Navarre, FL, to stay with her best friend for the week! Yesterday, we decided to take a day trip to Fairhope, AL. It's only about an hour and a half from Navarre.

Here's what we did.....

We started out our trip with mine and my mom's newest obsession- 7 Brew! I have gotten the iced cinnamon roll and iced German chocolate, and they are both SO good!



Our first stop in Fairhope was Sage- a Lebanese cafe. We had grape leaves as an appetizer- omg YUM. That was my first time to try them, and they were delish! I love falafel, so I had the appetizer as my meal. Everything was sooooo good.






We walked around and popped in and out of boutiques and antique stores. It's such a cute town!

Do y'all follow Quoting Kaylyn? She's on Tik Tok and visits Fairhope often. She had a collab at this boutique- so cute!


I thought this antique pool table was so neat!

And this frame is stunning!!

A book I considered...have any of you read it?

We had such a fun day!

    It sounds like you and your mom have had a great trip! That drink looks and sounds amazing and yum to the food!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
