Hello Monday {7.14.25}

 Happy Monday!! I am here to link up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday! Here's a look at my weekend....

I started my Friday morning off with this coffee that I got at Homegoods. YUM. Major Friends lover here!

We got dinner at The Grill on Friday night....we always do the pepper jack fried cheese- SO good. We also got the brownie sundae for dessert. Also SO good!

Saturday OOTD. Always cold in the house! Even when it's nearly 100 degrees....

We had to run to campus for a sec, and I snapped this pic!

Then we decided we needed to freshen up the flower beds out front. Anyone remember our revamp last summer?? It looked SO good, but gah we cannot keep anything alive.

Sunday after church lunch....

We watched Friends for a bit while we ate and started some laundry.

I found this energy drink at Kroger! I got watermelon and tropical punch. The watermelon is good!

Also got some flowers and ended up being able to make three little arrangements with the help of some roses in our backyard!

I cleaned out my closet and we had intentions of cleaning out other closets and cabinets, but we failed there....

Then it was wine time, and we watched a little more Friends.

Have a great Monday!!

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
