Friday Favorites {8.1.25}

 Happy AUGUST! I am linking up with Andrea and Erika today to share some faves from my week! 

I am obsessed with this La Croix flavor! Probably my favorite I have had so far.

We've got shingles 🙌. We had a bad storm back in May and had some hail damage to our roof, and it needs to be replaced. Such fun... (p.s.- do y'all see that we have kept the flowers alive??!!)


Have y'all watched The Hunting Wives?? I started it the other day and watched it while I rode the Peloton. It's CRAZY. It's definitely not a favorite (it was insane and very raunchy- lots of nudity-, so beware if you watch!), but I love that I can watch a show while I ride! Plus...

I loved Sophie's house!! 

I was listening to this yesterday, and I honestly thought it was already August when I started playing it 😂. 

I needed a lunch box for work, and I actually ordered one from Amazon that is now lost....Soooo, I ran to Marshalls and found this one! This is actually the same one I ordered (different color and pattern), but this one was half the price!

    That drink sounds so good, a real summer flavour.
    I have heard about The Hunting Wives, not many people say they love it but at the same time couldn't stop watching it. I will get around to watching eventually.

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice!
