Hello Monday {10.20.25}

 Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about mine. Friday night, we had Chick-fil-a for dinner and watched Father of the Bride. Always a favorite, but this watch bittersweet since Diane Keaton's passing. I didn't get any pictures on Saturday, but my sister had an event at her store- The Blend. Later on we went over to a family friend's house to watch football and eat yummy food! Sunday was church and lunch at Sushi Village. Again, no pics except the entrance of this neighborhood in Madison. I thought it looked so cozy! I should have gotten a close up of the pumpkins in front of the guard shack! I have been wanting a table to put beside our bathtub, and I finally found one at Homegoods (along with a few things for Christmas!).  Weeeellll. Sorry that was a bit boring. I am so bad at taking pics! Have a great Monday!

Friday Favorites {10.17.25}

  Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I am linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week. New life hack.....get fancy, good smelling laundry detergent, and you will want to do more laundry!! This smells soooo good! I think I have mentioned before, I love following @annesnowlifestyle on IG, and she recommended this detergent. It smells amazing! I also got a free sample of the signature spin scent , and it smells so good too! This is how I fall break. How cute are the under eye patches?? They were from a boo basket from a student! Pumpkin flavored coffee in a cute fall mug while wearing cute new pjs from my mom! I so enjoyed my little break! Caleb went on a fishing trip last weekend where they caught red fish. He cooked it Tuesday night and made a crawfish cream sauce to go on top. I made pepper jack cheese grits- delish! And last but not least.... THIS is a huge fave! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend!

Thoughts on TLOAS

 Happy Wednesday!! Who is loving The Life of a Showgirl?? I know I sure am. Here are all of my current thoughts after listening for a few days.... The Fate of Ophelia: When I hit play after the album was first released, I immediately thought "Ok, this is the tone for the album. Makes sense. I love it!"  Elizabeth Taylor: If you have ever thought that Taylor and Travis was all PR, just listen to this. You'll quickly realize the girl is IN LOVE. Opalite: I 100% understand why this is Travis's favorite. Might be mine too! SO good, so fun, and so sweeeeet!! Father Figure: This is The Man (Taylor No Longer Cares What Anyone Thinks Version). Eldest Daughter: This song gets me every time I listen. It perfectly sums up what it's like to be the eldest daughter.   Ruin The Friendship: Not at all what I was expecting. Regret is one of the worst things we experience as humans, and it is perfectly demonstrated in this song. (P.S., Even though it's for a sad reason, I love ...

Hello Monday {10.6.25}

 Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share a bit about mine. Much of my weekend consisted of listening to The Life of a Showgirl, and my Friday started early since I stayed up to listen to it! I am so very obsessed!! This is one of my faves (who am I kidding, they're all my faves!!) We had a field trip to the pumpkin patch that was so much fun! Friday night, we went to Bulldog Bash on campus to see Shaggy and Natasha Bedingfield! I had never heard of Shaggy, but I used to listen to Natasha Bedingfield when I was younger and love Unwritten! Of course, she saved it for last. It was a fun night! Saturday morning we slept in, then got ready to head to Birmingham for the day. My OOTD- I'm going to go ahead and say this pullover will be on repeat for me all fall and winter!! Our first stop was lunch at P.F. Chang's, followed by Trader Joe's, World Market, and Target. Fun day!! P.F. Chang's was on of our date night spo...

Friday Favorites {10.3.25}

 It's October 3rd! Aaaaaand it's also The Life of a Showgirl day!!! It's Friday, so that means I am linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves! When I'm typing this, I haven't actually listened yet. But I mean, come on. It has to be a fave! I picked this dry shampoo up on a whim at Target this past weekend, and OMG I love it! It smells sooooo good and works well too! But goodness, the smell! I can't get over it! New candle for my nightstand- yay! The scent is sweet grace- a favorite! Plus, I am trying to be more intentional about keeping my spaces tidy and cozy, and a candle always helps! Iced pumpkin coffee in my Glinda cup...definite fave! 49 days until Wicked: For Good- woohoo! Not a fave that I had to use this, but the massager is a fave for sure! I know not many people are a fan of it getting dark earlier, but I sure love it! This pic was taken at 7:12 p.m., and I think it is perfection. Candle lit, Abbott Elementary on, and sitting in my ro...
