Hello Monday {10.6.25}

 Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share a bit about mine.

Much of my weekend consisted of listening to The Life of a Showgirl, and my Friday started early since I stayed up to listen to it! I am so very obsessed!! This is one of my faves (who am I kidding, they're all my faves!!)

We had a field trip to the pumpkin patch that was so much fun!

Friday night, we went to Bulldog Bash on campus to see Shaggy and Natasha Bedingfield! I had never heard of Shaggy, but I used to listen to Natasha Bedingfield when I was younger and love Unwritten! Of course, she saved it for last. It was a fun night!

Saturday morning we slept in, then got ready to head to Birmingham for the day. My OOTD- I'm going to go ahead and say this pullover will be on repeat for me all fall and winter!!

Our first stop was lunch at P.F. Chang's, followed by Trader Joe's, World Market, and Target. Fun day!! P.F. Chang's was on of our date night spots in high school and remains a fave! This Starbucks was decked out of TLOAS and even had themed drinks- I'm wishing I had gotten the "Showgirl Shaken Espresso".

A few faves from my TJ's haul. Most expensive wine I have ever gotten from Trader Joe's- $16 😂. And pumpkin brioche bread with pumpkin butter has been my breakfast, dinner, snack, and lunch today lol. It's so good!

Pretty much all day Sunday I was at my computer writing a paper. So fun 😆.

Have a great Monday!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
