Friday Favorites {1.16.26}

 A very happy Friday to you all! I am off to The Children's Museum today with the kinders! While I'm on a school bus for about an hour, you all can enjoy some faves from my week! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea.

I started watching Scandal earlier this week, and dang I am hooked! It's created by Shonda Rhimes, so it's destined to be good, right? It very much feels like Grey's Anatomy, just with lawyers- everyone is always going above and beyond to best serve their client, just like the doctors do for their patients.

My mother in law brought some of these for us to snack on on the plane or in the hotel when we went to Vegas, and I am now addicted! Great little sweet treat but make it healthy!

Outfit planning for spring/summer. Gosh I am so ready!! I thought the long dress and cardigan will be cute to wear to Mass in early spring and the black dress will be cute for a summer day!

This is how I went to bed Sunday- ha! All the anti-wrinkle, moisturizing, lifting things for me please! I love the Frownies patches for my forehead....I don't want Botox lol.

Such a sweet gift from a student this week! I was really needing a new notepad, too!

Have a great weekend!!

  1. Happy Fri-yay! I love that you're going to the zoo with your kindergarten babies on the Friday before a long weekend. Have a blast! Hopefully they'll be good to you today. I love all your little favorites, but the picture of you and how you went to bed Sunday night made me laugh. Do that now and take care of your skin, and you won't need Botox! I have friends who get that, and I won't say that I'll never do that myself, but I am a big believer in caring for the skin God gave us. I use coconut oil to remove my makeup each night, and I think it's what helps me to look younger than I am. I'm 49, but when I went somewhere with my son Graham last year, someone thought I was his girlfriend. He's 26! 🤣

    I hope you enjoy every moment of your long weekend, sweet Maddie!

    1. It was so much fun- the kids loved it!! And yes, that’s my exact thought process with the skin care!😂😂 I need to try coconut oil as makeup remover!

  2. Love those summer outfit previews! It feels like 4 degrees here today so it's hard to even imagine warm weather making its way back but I know it eventually will. I've debated trying Scandal a time or two as I've never watched it before. I'll have to give it a try.

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
