Friday Favorites {1.23.26}

 Whoop whoop- it's FriYAY! I hope you all had a great week! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.

New protein shake fave! I guess I liked it so much that two mornings I snapped a pic while drinking one- ha!

We are prepped and ready as we'll ever be for this winter storm heading our way this weekend....

Hoping it doesn't get too bad!! Those empty shelves are on the bread aisle of our regular grocery store...

Really loved my outfit yesterday! I got in such a rut with my school outfits before Christmas, so I'm trying to do better this semester!

Wine of the week!

New fave! If you like a bold red, this one is it! I am also working on a post rounding up all of my favorite wines.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend! If you are in the path of this winter storm, stay safe and stay WARM!

  1. Ha! Yeah we've heard anything from 2-18 inches so who know?! Most people don't stock up here for big storms though because we know at most it will take a day for roads to be plowed. Though I am debating about hitting up the grocery store today instead of tomorrow (our snow is supposed to hit on Sunday) since I think it will be busier than normal. Really wishing Saturday wasn't my "usual" shopping day this week!

  2. I love your outfit! I need to switch from Premier to Fairlife bc better ingredients. Those grocery shelves! Same here I have heard. I left the grocery at 2:30 yesterday and it was still fine. I have since heard that it got ransacked!
    That wine looks so good! Who needs milk and bread? I need wine and chocolate!

  3. That protein shake looks good and stay safe and warm in the storm heading your way. I have just been reading about it and it sounds like it's going to be a bad one.

  4. Ok friends, for some reason I am not able to reply to each individual comment. So, I am posting my replies all in one comment!
    Joanne: Stay safe and warm and GOOD LUCK at the grocery store!!
    Amy: The Fairlife shakes are so good! And I am with you...what are people doing with milk and bread?? Wine and chocolate for me too!!
    Kim: Thank you so much Kim!! I feel like the forecast has changed 100 times this week, so I'm hoping it doesn't get too terribly bad!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Please, please, please educate yourself on what it means to have Autism, how to explain it to your children, how to advocate, how to include, how to help- all the things!! Please remember, if...

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
