Friday Favorites {1.9.25}

 Happy Friday!! Whew I am so glad to see this day! It was a great first week back, but dang I am exhausted! As always, I am linking up with Andrea and Erika for Friday Favorites!

Makeup/skincare favorites...

I am LOVING this foundation!! I picked it up at Kroger the other day, and I have been pleasantly surprised by it.

I haven't really ever worn bronzer, but I am loving this one from LYS- along with this Saie brush.

I have also never really worn a setting spray, but I decided to go ahead and try this one out. Love. It. 

I can't remember if I have used this moisturizer before, but I am loving it right now! It smells so luxurious and feels so nice on my skin.

Dinner at the table...

We ate dinner at the table on Monday, on the fine china, with the nice wine glasses. We certainly don't do this every night, but it is nice every now and then! I made this chicken sausage and broccoli orzo, and we both loved it! I added crushed red pepper to make it a bit spicy.

Friday Mexican...


Y'all know this always a favorite! We went last Friday night after not really being home for about two weeks. Now let's just see if we have it tonight.....😉

When you don't check your mailbox at school before Christmas break....

You get a nice little New Year surprise! I think I have found a new favorite red wine!

    Happy Friday! Your dinner at the table looks delicious...but so does that Mexican. I love a margarita with my Mexican restaurant food. I enjoyed that Sunday night when I went out with a friend. That Josh brand of wine is great! I think I follow them on Instagram, from when I first heard of them a few years ago. I'd read about the brand in a book I was reading by Pamela Kelley; she's a fiction writer, but she writes about her personal favorite things like foods and types of wine. I hope you have the best day, my friend!

    I love your plates. We have fine china that we never use because I would have to wash it by hand.

    That first week back is so hard! I was so ready for the weekend! Great beauty finds, I love the look of that bronzer.

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
