Happy Tuesday!! I am here today for Hello Monday, just on Tuesday!
Here are a couple of my favorite quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ...
Always love these! I am excited for a week of all things MLK Jr., peace, and kindness in Kinderland!
Friday was so much fun with a field trip to the Children's Hands on Museum in Meridian!
When I got home, I changed out of my school shirt and opted for this green tee that I got from Nordstrom a million years ago. I wore this Amazon cardi that a teacher at school thought was Anthro!
And where did we eat....
Mexican, of course. Sometimes there's nothing better than a burrito filled with only chicken and queso- YUM.
Caleb worked on Saturday, so I had the day all to myself with nothing to do. I read for a bit, tried to watch a couple of different movies but couldn't get into any of them, did some laundry, and then I sat and had a glass of wine before starting dinner.
We are now obsessed with this Cajun Shrimp from The Cozy Cook. We ate it over Jasmine rice, and it was delicious. I am making it again this week, but we are trying it over pasta this time. I am also omitting the red bell pepper. It was good, we just aren't huge fans.
After dinner, I decided to swap out the Pura fragrances. These are my two favorites! I also love the Lafco Blush Rose. They all smell really light, clean, and fresh.
Is there anything better than a cup of coffee with dessert?? Caleb worked again on Sunday, so it was me, myself, and I again. I did more laundry, organized my dresser drawers, and tried to clean out my closet.
We had Papa John's for dinner- always a favorite!
I didn't do a whole lot yesterday other than get groceries and work on my blog for the week.
Have a great Tuesday!

That's a cute cardigan! I'm glad you enjoyed your long weekend. Does Caleb have a different schedule from you or does he have a second job? When I was married, my ex worked at a second job a lot of weekend nights, so I also found myself alone a lot of the time. I never minded it, because back then I was an introvert. I'm not that way anymore! I actually am, but I call myself an extroverted introvert these days. I love to be social, but I recharge by being at home by myself. Have a great day, friend! Hoping that today's re-entry isn't too hard for any of us.
ReplyDeleteHe works in construction, so he works a lot of weekends. For the most part we have about the same schedule though. I definitely don’t mind a day to myself every now and then!
DeleteMLK must be turning in his grave now, especially at the sight of ICE agents dragging that poor disabled woman (American citizen) out of her car, and roughing her up in Minneapolis recently. Sadly, his example of courage is very rare in today's world.
ReplyDeleteI very much agree. It’s heartbreaking to see what’s happening to our country.
DeleteVery wise words from an amazing man!
ReplyDeleteThe field trip sounds like a lot of fun and the food looks so good! The Cajun Shrimp looks delicious too!
Thanks for reading, Kim!!
