Las Vegas {Part One}

 Happy Wednesday!! Now that I have recapped our first trip over Christmas break, it's time to recap trip #2 to fabulous Las Vegas!

Friday, December 26

The day after Christmas, we left the house early early to head to airport. The Life of a Showgirl felt appropriate!

Wheels up! I ❤️ Southwest! I especially love their new snacks!

We landed in Vegas around 9, then headed to our hotel. For the first part of the trip, we stayed at the Paris hotel. We stayed here one night a few years ago, and we all loved it. It's really so pretty and the attention to detail is so neat!

We grabbed lunch in the hotel- I am going to make a separate post for all things food and drink- before going to walk around some other hotels/casinos.

We walked Caesars Palace and Bellagio- there were still Christmas decorations up in most of the hotels!

We must have crashed hard, because I don't have really any pictures from the rest of the evening. Maybe we ordered pizza to the room this night??

Saturday, December 27

OOTD for our first full day! I saw so many women wearing their nice coats- so glad I brought mine...felt like the right move when packing!

More walking around and visiting other hotels. So. Much. Walking. After lunch, I did a little shopping in the mall inside of Planet Hollywood.

Caleb and I decided to have a date night on this day at Alexxa's inside of Paris. I had seen it walking in our hotel and was dying for some Italian food. OMG, it was so good! Plus, we had a great view of the Bellagio fountains our entire dinner.

Back in the hotel, ready for bed!

Sunday, December 28

Sunday OOTD! Up and at 'em for a fun day!

We took an Uber from Paris to the Venetian- it looks close but it's really about a 30 minute walk. This hotel is stunning! I would love to stay there one day.

We ate at Black Tap for lunch with a great view!

After lunch, we walked through the hotel to The Sphere. This was SO cool!

We saw The Wizard of Oz, and it was fantastic! Such a neat experience!!

We went to find the gondola rides inside the hotel before getting our Uber back to Paris. I would have loved to do this- it looks so fun!

On our ride back, my mother in law said "hey y'all look, we're about to get a good view of the sphere" to which the Uber driver basically said "hold my beer"....He told us he's an employee at The Wynn and could show us an even better view. Y'all. He took us through the employee parking garage and up to the top. He was incredibly kind, but we thought for a split second that this was the end for us 😂. We did get a great view, though!

We ended the night by all going our separate ways for dinner, shopping, etc. Caleb and I found a Mexican restaurant (are y'all shocked??), drank margs, and then went to Sephora before calling it a night.

Have a great Wednesday!

  1. What a fabulous trip! I saw your coat, but how was the weather? I imagine it being milder than there than other places. I've never been to Vegas and have not had it on my travel bucket list until just recently. I loved the pictures!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...
