Happy Thursday!! Today I am sharing the third and final part of our Las Vegas trip! You can find parts one and two, plus all things Vegas food, HERE.
Wednesday, December 31
We started NYE off by going over to the Luxor hotel. We were actually planning to stay here instead of Flamingo, but my mother in law changed her mind right before the trip. We were actually glad we didn't stay here, because it was kind of far from a lot of things. Plus, we heard that it's really not a great place to stay anyway.
We went to Luxor for Play Playground- an adult play ground. We each got credits to play the games. Some were individual and some were team. We had fun, but I don't think I'd do it again. Once it got busy, some of us overwhelmed and just ready to go.
Back at the hotel and ready to ring in the new year!
We had In n Out for dinner and got ice cream at Ghirardelli (as I am typing this I'm just now finding out there's a second 'r' in Ghirardelli, lol).
For the rest of the night, we walked around the hotel and casino, walked next door to check out the hotel and casino there, watched NYE shows, and hung out. We could see the fireworks at the Venetian from our room! We could also see just a tiny bit of the Sphere, and it had fun things displayed all night. We also got our things packed and ready to go home...
Thursday, January 1
Our first flight had a rough start, and I got scared on a plane for the first time. Not sure why I was so nervous, but I was super happy to see the ground a few hours later!
Two faves from all the flights. These pretzels are SO good! And oh my, the water on Southwest is a new favorite 😂. It was very smooth if that makes sense....hahaha.
We had such a great trip with great weather, great food and drinks, and best of all- great company! If you're considering a trip to Las Vegas, let this be your sign to GO! It really is so much fun! There's so much to see and do just by walking through the different hotels. There is also lots of great shopping, and if I haven't mentioned it yet, so much good food!
Have a great Thursday!
