Vegas Food and Drink

One of my very favorite parts of vacation is hands down the FOOD. Since we had such good food in Vegas, I thought it would be best to dedicate an entire post just to that! Sooo sorry if you get hungry reading this πŸ˜‚. We had some great drinks as well!

Bobby's Burgers

We got to our hotel around 10 am, which was really our normal 12 pm. We were hungry and most places were already open and selling lunch anyway. We decided on Bobby's Burgers in Paris Hotel. I am not usually a burger person, but this was so good! We had to wait a bit on one of our food items, so they gave us a free fry for the wait. It really was not a bad wait, but I thought that was such a kind gesture.

Wine from CVS πŸ˜‚

Josh Cab in a hotel cup just screams Vegas to me...ha!

P.F. Chang's- Planet Hollywood

A meal at P.F. Chang's was on our radar before we even left Mississippi. This is one of our very favorite places to eat so whenever we see one, we must go!

Chang's Spicy Chicken for me always and of course a Great Wall of China for dessert.

Alexxa's- Paris Hotel

Caleb and I had a date night at Alexxa's in Paris one night, and it was fabulous!

He got this salted caramel bourbon, and I had red wine.

We started with their "Balloon Bread" served with three different dips that were all amazing!

I had bolognese and Caleb had a burger with truffle fries.

We were tempted by the tiramisu for dessert which we overheard was the best in Vegas, but when our waiter told us about the cheesecake, we opted for it. Great choice on our part. YUM.

Caleb had a coffee with dessert, but I went for a chocolate martini. I am always trying to find the best, and I believe this one here is IT.

Black Tap- Venetian

My mother in law has been wanting to go to Black Tap for many years, and we finally got to go! Like I said, I am not a huge burger person and after just having one, I was more in the mood for chicken tenders. They were really good, but the different sauce options really made the meal! I also had the truffle fries, and they were great too.

We of course had to get one of their iconic shakes...I have to admit, it was just okay.

La Salsa- Planet Hollywood

Leave it to me to want Mexican food no matter where I have traveled to! The margs were delish, the salsa was so good but not free (boooo), and the fajitas were just okay. I would absolutely go back though πŸ˜‚.

Cocolini- Planet Hollywood

Right by the restaurant was an ice cream shop. Well, actually I think it was gelato. Really good!! These shops were in several of the hotels/malls.

Black Bear Diner- Henderson, NV

We ate here last time we were in Vegas- there are several locations, we just happened to go to the one in Henderson.

I had the sweet cream pancakes with blueberry sauce and strawberries. So good!

So nice, we had it twice....

We decided to just have lunch there the next day too. I got the chicken fried steak this time. Not healthy in the least but so good!

Havana 1957- Flamingo Hotel

I wanted a Mai Tai, so we stopped by this bar in the Flamingo hotel before going to walk around outside. It was so good! I also had another one in the casino while playing Roulette- not as good but still decent!

In n Out Burger- Flamingo Hotel

This was the obvious choice for our last Vegas meal! We waited forever for a table after ordering, but we eventually got one. So good and worth the wait! The diet Coke was honestly my favorite part- ha!

Ghiradelli- Flamingo Hotel

Ice Cream sundaes from Ghiradelli...ummmm, yes please! I honestly could have stayed in there a while just looking at all of the different chocolates.

Ok, who's ready to book a trip just for the food?? πŸ™‹ We ate really well for sure!

Have a great day!

  2. That is some exceedingly good restaurant food and nice portion size, looks like something you'd see on the site foodgawker...I've read that the food in Vegas is outstanding and reasonably priced, a foodies' dream!

Let's Look: January 2026

Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times πŸ˜‚. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Please, please, please educate yourself on what it means to have Autism, how to explain it to your children, how to advocate, how to include, how to help- all the things!! Please remember, if...
