Hello Monday {2.17.26}

 Hello TUESDAY! I had the day off yesterday, so I decided to take the day off from the blog as well. Here's what we were up to this past weekend...

Friday was such a sweet day with lots of candy and flowers from sweet students!

We had Mexican for dinner, so that of course made the day even better!

Saturday morning views.....

Flowers, chocolate, coffee, chicken minis. Just a few of my favorite things 😌.

We went to Ulta, Kroger, and Walmart. We grabbed a few things for the week, and I grabbed some beauty products I was in need of/wanted to try.

I needed new blush and moisturizer. I have seen great things about this face mask, and I was super excited to try the new OPI'm a Bubble Bunny....

So pretty!

Then it was time for my very favorite holiday tradition....

Pizza on the fine china, wine, watching Valentine's Day, and chocolate for dessert.

Sunday was dreary- my favorite kind of weather. Perfect for staying in and doing nothing.

I watched a couple of movies and ate leftover pizza. I watched Crazy Stupid Love and Wine Country- both on Netflix.

Monday started off strong with a Gorgie energy drink. These do not make me feel jittery at all but actually give me energy!

I ran to Marshall's- I was on the hunt for a button down top.

I loved this one. Plus, it will be perfect for St. Patrick's Day. I don't own really any green, so I thought this was perfect!

I found this cute purse for my sister for an upcoming trip of hers. I'm loving the beaded purse trend!

I have been wanting to try a foot mask for like ten years now, and I don't know why I never got any?? I did the foot mask and did some laundry.

Then, I grabbed a snack, turned on Barbie, and got to work on this puzzle that we have been working on for, I kid you not, THREE years. I cannot tell you the last time we worked on it. That night sky is brutal. Our goal was to finish and frame it. Not sure if we will still frame it. We just want to finish it 😂.

I made quite a bit of progress before Caleb got home. We worked on it for a bit while we had dinner and watched Desperate Housewives. Maybe 2026 is the year we finish it 😂.

Whew! Busy long weekend there! I hope you all had a great one!

  1. What a fun weekend! I like your easy nights at home, and what you do and have for dinner. Those always sound like the perfect nights! The three year puzzle had me chuckling. Happy Tuesday!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
