Hello Monday {2.9.26}

 Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share about my weekend.

When your air is on full blast on the way home from work....

Omg I wanted to put on some sandals so bad hahaha! It felt SO good outside Friday afternoon. We have warm temps all week thank goodness!

We had a very quiet Friday night at home! Saturday morning, we got up to head to Madison to see our families for the day.

We went to Mexican with Caleb's family. Yay! I wish I had grabbed a pic of our main meal, but I guess I was too hungry lol....we have been getting the Alambre which is steak, chicken, onions, bacon, and cheese sauce. Put it on a tortilla with sour cream and tomatillo sauce. Ohhhh my goodness. It's amazing.

On Sunday, I did lots of laundry and got the house cleaned up. Then, it was all about the Super Bowl Bad Bunny Concert....LOL.


I loved all of the pregame performances, and I especially loved Charlie Puth singing the National Anthem.

Our spread! Tamales and chips and dip just felt right! YUM.

Caleb made us cookies and cream ice cream for dessert. So good!

I LOVED Bad Bunny's half time performance. I so loved that he brought back his quote from his Grammy's speech..."the only thing more powerful than hate, is love." And when he handed his Grammy to the little boy, my word. So sweet!

    We had snow and below freezing temps this weekend BUT it's supposed to warm up to nearly 40 by the weekend and I can not wait! It looks and sounds like you had a real yummy weekend.

      I get jealous of other people’s snow until I remember that I really don’t love the cold that much😂 I definitely ate very well this weekend!

    Wow! I am so jealous of your mild weather! Your Mexican dish sounds incredible and glad you see you brought out more Mexican for the superbowl- I LOVE Charlie Puth :)

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
