Things I Find Incredibly Chic

 Happy Tuesday! Ok I have been seeing posts like this on blogs and Tik Tok, so I wanted to make my own! I am certainly no expert and do not do these things all of the time, but here are a few things I find incredibly chic!

Matching PJ sets

I don't know about y'all, but I feel so put together when I wear matching pjs. Like, I just imagine Princess Catherine wearing a matching set to get in bed....lol. My favorite brand is Lake!

White tshirt under a sweater or sweatshirt

Don't ask me why, but I just find this chic. I saw someone on Instagram do this and loved it. I think it mostly makes me feel like I have my life together. Even if no one else sees it, I know it's there.

Mixing metals

I am a metal mixer all day every day. I used to work in a jewelry store, so I saw people constantly either mixing metals or refusing to and I just felt like the people open to mixing where so much cooler.

Lotion by your bedside

Putting on lotion at night is one of my favorite things ever. Moisturized skin is very chic!

Stack of books with a candle on top

I feel like this is my signature decor tip. I have stacks of books all over my house- reading will never not be chic.

Solid night routine

This is another one that makes me feel like I have my life together. Once I get my shower, it's go time. Shower, brush my teeth, skin care, bed time. It's fool proof. I take it with me to hotels, other people's homes, etc. It just works and flows. I'm not taking up time for others to get in the bathroom, and I am happier when I'm ready for bed late at night.

    I loved this post! I do a lot of these things myself, like the nighttime routine and the lotion before bed, especially in the winter! My skin is always so dry. Another thing I do is shower to wash my hair in the morning; if I'm home it gives me time to let it air dry before leaving the house. When I get dressed to leave, I put oil on my feet to keep them soft before putting on socks and shoes. I'm all about the little things in life! I wrote a somewhat similar post today. Happy Tuesday!

      Thank you Jenn! I really should start washing my hair in the mornings...it always looks so much better right after I wash and blow dry.

    Oh yes! I agree with all of these things! I feel like I have got my life so together when I have matching Pjs after I've covered myself in moisturising lotion.

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
