 Happy Wednesday! It's time to link up with Amy for the March edition of Currently! Here's what's going on in my life currently....

Saving my life right now- sounds dramatic, but this is just what really adds light to your life

Knowing that a full week of doing nothing is right around the corner! I am so excited for spring break! I have zero plans (well, except for a hair cut appointment!), and I am so grateful for that!

Cleaning/Purging

I am always trying to clean out and purge my closet. I really need to work on that next week during my break! I have found myself not wanting to reach for certain pieces of clothing or certain shoes, so maybe that will help me!

Loving

So sorry if I am sounding like a broken record over this topic, but I am loving button down shirts right now. I love how they can be super casual, but you can also dress them up! I guess I am channeling my inner Lynette Scavo!

Planning (trip wise)

Nothing major in the works, but I am hoping for a trip or two this summer to visit my mom's best friend who lives at the beach, and her friend that lives in Texas!

Taking a break from

Doom scrolling. I have to stop. It actually had gotten pretty bad, but now I would say I really don't do it as much. Still trying to open those apps less and less! Plus, with current events it's just better for my sanity to stay off as much as possible.

    That button down is so pretty!
    I always liked the thought of traveling on spring break but I just needed the time at home. A hair appointment is the perfect thing to have on the calendar - add in a pedicure, a lunch out, and a matinee movie - all great forms of self care! You could reward yourself after purging out the closet with one of these activities. I do that sometimes!

    Oh that beach looks incredible! I keep a garbage bag in the corner of my closet and any time I find I don't like how something fits or it has a stain/ hole/pull, etc. or if nearly a whole season has gone by and I haven't reached for a clothing or shoe item I put it in the bag. I find it far less daunting than trying to tackle the closet all at once.

    Have a fab spring break and good luck with sorting your closet. I did mine a the start of the year and it took me two days. lol I have been staying off social media, I am all for burying my head in the sand and ignoring the news!

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
