Friday Favorites {3.6.25}

 Happy SPRING BREAK!! Well, almost. I hope you all had a great week! I am linking up with Andrea and Erika today to share a few faves from my week.

New Alani flavors to the rescue!!

These are both really good! I am back on an energy drink kick- dang it.

Ok, I promise you I am not a phone user when I am driving, but I had to snap a pic of the sky Monday morning on my way to work.

So beautiful!

I am so grateful to work closely with two wonderful ladies, and they sure made my birthday extra special on Tuesday! Plus, our Kinders wrote me some super sweet birthday cards, drew some cute pictures, and drew all over the white board for me (complete with '67' lol).

And to really make my day, our precious Spanish speaking child said this into the translator...

Goodness, he's funny! He said it's from a cartoon he watches.....

I surely ate well on my birthday, too.

Mexican for lunch (thanks to the Kinder assistant!)

And Taste for dinner with my guy!

Their $22 crab cake is worth every dang penny.

I almost always get the mushroom ravioli, and Caleb tried something new with their seafood linguine. All delicious!

Complete with cheesecake for dessert and a special birthday sparkler with cotton candy!

A new outfit always makes my day! Loving this top from Madewell HERE, and these jeans are super comfy and the perfect length for my long legs HERE! I sized up to a medium in the top and jeans are TTS.

Also loved yesterdays outfit, mostly because I wore my Birks for the first time in a long dang time! I'm over sneakers these days haha.

Dug deep into my lipstick bag once again and found this that I had forgotten about! Princess Catherine has been seen applying this 😉.

And to round out a great week of faves, I tried a new wine from Trader Joe's and it's for sure a new fave!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Is is Spring Break for you too?? If so, I hope it's wonderful and relaxing!

  1. Those drinks sound good, I think I would go for the Strawberry Sunrise one.
    Oh wow! That sky is beautiful!!
    How lovely to have people to make your birthday extra special and what the Spanish speaking child said did make me chuckle! You really did have some delicious looking food!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
