Hello Monday {3.2.26}

 Hello MARCH! I hope you all had a great weekend! I am sharing all about mine today and linking up with Holly and Sarah.

Friday was a fun one- here's my outfit of the night!

We went to a fundraiser for my school and had so much fun! We ate, drank, laughed, danced a little, and I even won something in the silent auction!

I got this fun little self care basket! And yes, that is a giant Volcano candle...if you know, you know. My love language is basically just giant candles that smell amazing hahaha.

Saturday morning started off with breakfast from Chick-fil-a before hopping in the car to head to one of my favorite places- Birmingham, AL.

First stop...

P.F. Chang's! Our absolute fave! Crab won tons, Chang's spicy chicken for me, and Mongolian beef and lo mein for Caleb. YUM. I don't know if I would want this or Mexican to be my last meal.........

Then it was time to shop! I really wanted to find a pair of cropped jeans. I found this top in Madewell and one pair of jeans, but they were a tad too short. I got the top! We popped in a few other stores and browsed.

Then my day, week, month, year was made when I saw that Nordstrom Rack was at The Summit. No idea how long it's been there, but I'm so happy I saw it!

Then we were on to Belk- I was searching for a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding. Score! Only dress I tried on....do dressing rooms have zero air flow??? I did not want to be in there any longer than I had to haha! (Dress link HERE. Runs a tad big!)

We made a stop at Trader Joe's and got a few things- including these gorgeous tulips! Then we headed back home....

And of course we ended up here when we got home ☺️. So this was basically my most perfect day ever!

Sunday morning we got up and got the house cleaned up and in order since Caleb's parents were coming for the day. I lit my new candle!

I painted my nails...I felt that a bright, fun color was perfect for March! This is OPI We Seafood and Eat It.

Lunch at Harvey's! YUM! I got honey pepper salmon with jalapeño cheddar grits and asparagus. We shared a brownie and brown butter cake for dessert. It was all delicious!

Later on, Caleb and I went to Walmart to grab a few things that we didn't get at Trader Joe's. I came home and made this delicious pasta salad for my lunches this week. Recipe link HERE. I used feta instead of mozzarella and didn't add parm.

We had a packed and fun weekend! Have a great Monday and a great start to a new week and new month.

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
