Hello Monday {3.9.26}

 Hello Monday and Hello SPRING BREAK! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share about my weekend!

Friday was our big Grandparent's Day at school. We had Mass, kids walked around with their grandparents for the photo booth, Book Fair, and to show off their art work around the school and in classrooms! One sweet grandparent brought breakfast for all of the teachers. So kind! And delicious!

Friday night, we decided we needed some crawfish! Do you eat crawfish where you live? I grew up eating it, so it has always seemed very normal to me. But I do realize it's a bit weird 😂. We went to Mississippi Ice here in Starkville, and it was probably some of the best crawfish I've had!

Saturday morning, I got ready for some of my family to come into town to have lunch for my birthday! All the depuffing and pore minimizing for me please!

We went to Harvey's again, and I got the honey pepper salmon once again. Dang it's good!

Later that afternoon, the dark clouds started rolling in and the rain started- my favorite weather to stay in and do nothing!!

Sunday, we did absolutely nothing all day, and that was so nice! I stayed in pjs until almost 12! I am loving my new Lake robe that my mom and step dad got me!

I was really not interested in putting on normal pants to go to the grocery, so I threw this on and decided I would go by myself today.

Have a great Monday!

  2. Have a fab spring break!!
    Friday sounds like a lovely day at school.
    I have never eaten crawfish, I've never even seen it on a menu here in the UK. I am guessing it's not a big thing.
    hehehe! The photo of you in the facemask did make me chuckle! It sounds like a really lovely weekend.

    1. Thank you Kim!
      I think crawfish is really only a thing in the southern states, but I was curious to know about other parts of the world! Thanks for sharing!
      Sometimes I think maybe I shouldn't put these pictures of me on the internet, but then I think why not😂

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
