Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Please, please, please educate yourself on what it means to have Autism, how to explain it to your children, how to advocate, how to include, how to help- all the things!! Please remember, if...

My Tips For Getting Rid of Cooking Smells

 One thing I cannot stand is the lingering smell of food from the night before- yuck! I *think* I may have cracked the code on getting rid of the smells!! Here are my tips..... 1. Light a candle before you start cooking. Something light, airy, fresh, whatever you love! I feel like this kind of helps mask those smells initially. 2. Wipe down the counters and stove pretty soon after you are done. I love this Method spray and love even more that it's anti-bac! I feel like that helps a bit more too. 3. Clean your sink and garbage disposal. Get the dishes out of the sink and clean with soap! I like Dawn Powerwash or Mrs. Meyers. Also cleaning the disposal will make things a little fresher. I sometimes throw a lemon peel in- I know some people say not to but I always have! 4. Fabric spray!! Spraying this on my furniture, pillows, blankets, rug after the food is cleaned up and put away I think really helps!! I love the fresh linen scent too!  5. Coffee grounds If the smells are still...

My Exercise Routine

 Happy Tuesday!! Today I thought I would share with y'all what I have been doing exercise wise lately. 1. Walk on my walking pad 20 minutes OR 1 mile- whichever one comes LAST. Depending on my speed (3.0-3.60), I sometimes get to a mile first but want to go at least 20 minutes a day. 2. Ab workout This one hurts, but it's good- just got from Pinterest!! I have been loving it. Sometimes I will skip some of these exercises and will just do more reps of other ones on here that I like!! 3. Lift weights I only life about 10 pounds, but I try to do weighted squats, donkey kicks, or just do bicep/triceps lifts. Just a little bit, not a ton! Also wear my weighted vest and wrist weights when I walk!! Let's not forget....drink lots of water and eat well! Also, what's a workout without a cute outfit!! I am loving this set from Amazon! I think better quality that Lulu!! I do not put in the dryer though. Tank here | Skirt here | Best sports bra ever!! All TTS Basically I am just try...

Hello Monday {3.30.26}

 Happy Monday, friends! I took a very impromptu blog break last week, but I am back today for Hello Monday with Holly and Sarah.  Since I took a break all of last week, I am going to do Hello Monday a little differently. I usually share about my weekend, but today I am going to share some favorite things/moments from last week! Mexican and margs at our fave El Ran back home on a Friday night....cannot beat that!  Beagle Bagel for lunch after shopping at Homegoods with my mom and Mimi makes for a very happy Saturday!! Watching the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary special brought all the feels!! This was MY CHILDHOOD. I laughed, I cried, I reminisced about the good ole days. Goodness, I really loved it!! But now I also feel 10000000 years old hahaha Obsessed with my Easter dress!! I saw this brand on Anne Snow (@annesnowlifestyle on IG), and I knew I wanted one of these dresses. She says they are good Zimmerman dupes- I don't even wanna know Zimmerman prices hahaha. So so s...

Friday Favorites {3.20.26}

 Finally Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week. My sweet boy at school brought us all these sweet little bunnies as a little happy!  I thought they were so cute like this! I will cherish these forever! I'm now down to my last serving of thin mints....goodness I love Girl Scout cookies! My favorites are Samoas, but thin mints are a close second- in the freezer of course! Loved this that I came across on Pinterest. Gosh, so true! Been thinking about it since I saw it. Really makes me stop and think about the things I have, the people I love and that love me, and thing I get to do and see. Ahhh! I am OBSESSED with our new living room chairs. I have been wanting at least one more chair for this space, but I decided to go for two and so glad I did!! Still have this chair, just in this little nook by the window! Love how cozy it is! I really love the two chairs for this reason here! I can sit in on...

Beauty Faves Lately

 Happy Thursday!! We have almost made it to the weekend! I don't know about y'all, but this week has felt extremely slow for me. Anyway, let's talk about my favorite beauty products lately! Redken Quick Blowout I can't really say this works for blow out- I'm prob not using it right and my hair is so difficult haha. But LOVE for heat protectant and it smells sooooo πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ Also buying this because my hair girl used on me the other day! Anything to cut my blow dry time down. Plus it has heat protectant too! I don't love mixing too many products at once because my hair gets oily quick so love when a product is 2 in 1!! Batiste Dry Shampoo I've tried them all and this is simply the best. It just works and I can get when I buy groceries haha.  Face Creams Love me some Ponds!! These three are in my rotation right now. I use the Ponds to take off makeup and then will use as night moisturizer some times. Also love Tatcha but wanted to try Magic Cream from Charlot...
