Skin Care!

Let's talk skin care! I've pretty much always taken good care of my skin. I use tons of sunscreen and stay under an umbrella, with a hat on, too. I've been working on a skin care regimen pretty much all year. I use a mix of brands and products, but I think I've finally found what I love and don't love. Here is everything I'm using right now.

I have all of my products in this organizer. It's easy to just pull out of my cabinet and grab whatever I need.
These are the two products I use morning and night. I started using Tula products several years ago, and no matter what I try, I always go back to this cleanser. I had never heard of this toner until earlier this year, but now I see it all over the place! It isn't drying at all, and I love the rose scent.
Tik Tok made me do it! I've heard about Pond's Cold Cream for ages, but after seeing it all over Tik Tok, I decided to give it a try. I also got the Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream, and that's what I use as my night time moisturizer. I like them both ok (I think I could do without the cold cream for sure), but I don't think I will purchase them again once I run out.
More Tula! I've been loving the Rose Glow & Get It for early mornings. I apply it under my eyes before I put on my foundation, and then again after my makeup is done. It's also great as a highlighter. I use the 24-7 Moisture for my morning moisturizer. I'm down to just the travel size, but I will probably go back to this for morning and night once I run out of that Pond's.
I'm really all about the anti-wrinkle products😉. In my skin care research at the beginning of the year, one of the most prevalent tips was to use Retinol. I settled on this one by L'Oreal. I don't use it every single day, because I don't want it to irritate my face too bad, but I do like it and feel like it works.

These next few products are not ones I use every night. I use these when I want to have a little self care night.
I loooove Colleen Rothschild. These are some of my favorites from her line. The Micro-Mineral Resurfacing Scrub and Dual Enzyme polish don't seem all that different to me. I'm sure there is something different about them, but they both leave my face super super soft. I usually leave the Intense Hydrating Mask on over night. Some more of my favorite CR products are the Radiant Cleansing Balm and the Glycolic Acid Peel Pads.
I'm wearing this mask right now. It smells sooooo good!! I could spend hours and tons of money in Lush🙂
I'm also wearing this chin mask. I probably should use them more often, but I feel like they do help a little bit.
These two products are my #1, MUST HAVE, absolute favorite products ever! During quarantine, my lips got super dry for some reason. They were cracked and hurt terribly, and these two products helped tremendously.

I don't feel like my routine is super fancy or extensive, but I love it, and it works for me! Win-Win! I've tossed around the idea of Botox (for when I'm closer to 30), but the older I get the more I don't really care about that. Basically, I'm just trying to take care of my skin and age gracefully.

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
