Life Lately {February 2023}

 Happy Thursday! Today I'm sharing a little bit about life lately. Not much exciting is going on, but I want to have these types of posts to look back on one day to see what we were up to. 

This is my favorite type of errand running outfit! I wore this to go to Marshalls and Ulta with Mimi and Reid...I also went to Aldi and Walmart after they left. 

My sweatshirt is Lululemon. (I went for the M/L for an oversized fit.) My shirt and leggings are Vuori! I'm in a small in both. My belt bag came from Mimi Seabrook, and I like it just as much as the Lulu version. (It's sold out, but I'll link the Lulu version here.)

Reid looooves to color, so I found him some paper and colored pencils, and he gave us these masterpieces.😉

He hung them himself, and I just can't bring myself to take them down. 

And here I am cooking dinner that night. I made a delicious tortellini soup that I'll share the recipe for soon! 

I really do like cooking- I'm just getting tired of coming up with a meal plan every week!😅

On Tuesday I shared my mom's "homemade hamburger helper"- 

And then we had it for dinner! 

The sweet girl I buy my hair products from (@m.is.for.meg on IG) shared this veggie dip recipe, and I took a screenshot and plan to get the stuff to make it next week for healthy and easy snacks/light lunches.

I wonder what the next jewelry trend is going to be?! These are my currents faves! 

Wednesday morning, I shared a Let's Look post where we looked at our medicine cabinets, but this is what I was looking at as that post went live...

I'm still going strong with The Bible Recap! Let me tell ya, Exodus is not for the faint of heart. This particular reading consisted of some animal sacrifice...whew! 

Wednesday afternoon, I finished my second book of February. I'm loving reading more. I spend less time on my phone- which is so good for the mind and soul!

And here we are Wednesday evening about to sit down for dinner. 

We had Shay's Easy Weeknight Frito Pie...and it was SO easy. Not our fave dinner we've ever had, but we both went back for seconds. 

I worked on my blog for a little while, and then I read the rest of the night! I was asleep before 9:30! I've been getting in bed around 8 or 8:30...if I'm not in the bed by like 9, I get real irritated. I am my mother's child.😁
