Friday Favorites {3.17.23}

Happy Friday!! And happy St. Patrick's Day! Are you wearing green today?!

As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some faves from the week! I have a very random line up this week!

First up, my new favorite grocery store!

ALDI!! On Tuesday, I shared my Aldi grocery haul for the week. You can check that out here!

Some favorites from Aldi this week included....

Beef Jerky that is DELISH!

We really liked these cookies!

And PINK strawberries! They taste better than regular strawberries to me.....

Y'all know I have been LOVING all things Tarte Maracuja for the lips lately, but I had to try this!

The Princess of Wales never steers us wrong with her favorite things! I'm loving this for just a little pop of shimmer throughout the day! This is the "Rose Shimmer."

I have a couple of trips coming up that I'll be checking a bag for...

...so I grabbed a luggage scale at Marshall's, just in case! I've never gone over the limit before, but I have come dangerously close, and I don't want to risk it! It will definitely be a family fave when we get ready for these trips!

Last night.💜

Ice cream and The Office- after our favorite pasta dinner. Does it get better than this?

Last but not least!

It's not actually official, but it might as well be! If everything goes according to plan, we will be staying in Starkville for the next several years. SO, we are beginning the journey to really making this house a home.

I've made a list of everything I want to get/do, and we've already made one purchase!

A rug for our living room! We don't have a way of getting things delivered to our house yet, so we're still having everything shipped to my mom's house. We'll be headed there this weekend, so we'll get it put out in the next few days!

I'm so excited to see it in person! This rug came from Rugs USA, and so far I cannot recommend them enough! The prices are GREAT and the shipping was super fast! My mom's friend who we just visited in Texas has her house filled with their rugs, and she raved about them the whole time we were there.

That wraps up Friday! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
