My New Skincare Routine

Happy Thursday! How are you on this second day of March?? Today I have for you my NEW skincare routine. I have simplified since I last shared my routine, and I'm so excited to share it!

I've been seeing Candace Cameron Bure RAVE about Dr. Lancer for years, so I finally decided to try it out.

The verdict is in: I freaking LOVE it.

All of the products I'm using smell amazing. I have noticed my pores shrink and neck lines fade a tad. I'm basically obsessed with it. Right now, I never want to use another thing. I do have other brands thrown in, but it's Dr. Lancer for the most part! Let's get into it!

I use The Method, which is a 3 part regimen. I use the Normal-Combination set. It's also available in Sensitive-Dehydrated and Oily-Congested. I do all three steps on my face, neck, and décolleté area, as recommended. A little goes a very long with all three.

I'm still keeping everything neat and tidy in this organizer under my sink.

First up, Polish:

I do this step only in the morning after my shower. It's recommended to use it only once a day. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and smooth, yet it doesn't feel too harsh to use everyday.

Next, Cleanse:

I love this stuff. I swear I can smell it now as I type. I want it in a candle.😂 It lathers nicely and feels super gentle. And, of course, smells amazing.

Last, Nourish:

This moisturizer is super light and definitely does not feel like it clogs my pores. Again, a little goes a very long way! It smells amazing, too!

Caviar Lime Acid Peel:

This isn't a part of The Method, but it is a part of Candace's "At Home Facial." I try to only use it once a week so it doesn't irritate my skin too bad. I have to limit myself, though. It's almost addictive. Maybe I use it more like 2-3 times a week. #oops

Peter Thomas Roth Peptide 21 Amino Acid Peel Pads:

I'm also still using these every now and then. I try to alternate between these and the Caviar Lime Acid Peel. If I use them too close together, my skin does get a little irritated, but it's nothing too bad.

When I use either of the acid peel products, I use it after cleansing and before eye cream and moisturizer.

Monat Eye Smooth Nourishing Eye Cream:

I want everything that will prevent wrinkles around my eyes. I recently started selling Monat, and I wanted to try out their eye cream. So far, I like it. It doesn't have a smell, so that's boring.😂 But I think it's doing it's job. I use it after cleansing and before moisturizing. It also came with a roller to apply it, but I feel like it tugs my skin too much, so I apply it with my ring finer.

I recently started taking these ACV gummies from Monat. They are supposed to be good for hair, skin, and nails. They have an ok taste. The texture is a little weird to me, but they're fine to take once a day.

Now I want to go wash my face! What's your go to skin care brand and your favorite products? I love taking care of my skin, and I hope you do too! Have a great Thursday!

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
