Let's Look: April 2023

Hey! Happy Wednesday!! Today I'm linking up with Shay and Erika for the APRIL edition of Let's Look!

In January, we looked at Scheduling/Organizing a Busy Family.

In February, we looked at What's In Our Medicine Cabinets.

In March, we looked at our All Time Favorite Amazon Finds.

Today we are "looking" at....OUR BIGGEST PET PEEVES.

I really pray that I don't hurt any feelings this morning.😂

First and foremost, improper grammar is one of my biggest pet peeves in the world.

Ross Gellar says it best. Gah. That one REALLY gets me. I truly do not understand how people don't get it.

To/Too

They're/Their/There

Then/Than

The list goes on....

When someone says they don't have a temperature, I want to cry. You always have a temperature. It's a matter of whether or not you have a fever. *insert facepalm emoji*

Last thing for the grammar pet peeves, and I'll hush. I so wish people would stop saying would of, could of, should of. It's have. Not of. Please learn.😘

Alright, moving on. This one irritates the heck out of me. And honestly grosses me out.

If you live with me, you know to shut it. If you don't live with me, you may not understand my hatred for this. Now you do. It takes less than a second to put it down. Just do it.🙂

I feel like maybe I've hurt a feeling or two by now, so I'll calm down a bit.

Why can't the price stickers go on the bottom of the candle jar?? I also can't stand when the sticker is right on the glass of the picture frame.

Ok, I think I'll stop there for today. What are some of YOUR pet peeves?? Are any of them the same as mine?

Have a happy Wednesday!!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
