Weekend Recap

 Hey to a new Monday! 

We kicked our weekend off with a Hibachi dinner on Friday night! 

YUM!

Saturday morning's view...

Coffee and greens. I've been drinking Bloom greens, and they're just ok. While I drank that....

I did The Bible Recap, and really loved this verse. 

Ready as I'll ever be for a Saturday work day.😂 

Saturday night we went to my sister's senior party....

where we had crawfish.

Sunday morning church outfit. After church we had lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant. After lunch, we gave my nephew his birthday gift....

Safe to say he LOVES it! 

We spent the afternoon at Caleb's parents house where we had crawfish again! 

Ended the evening with my best little buddy. Ugh, he melts me. (This was about 5 minutes after he sprayed me with his new water gun.😂)

Today is a grocery shopping and getting things back in order for the week day. Have a happy Monday!

    What a fun and full weekend! That Bible verse stood out to me too when I came across it a few days ago.

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
