Friday Favorites {11.24.23}

Happy happy Friday, friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent the day with family and lots and lots and lots of delicious food- plus celebrating my mom’s birthday!

As always, I’m linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some favorites from the week.

Starting off with a couple of Black Friday specials…

My very favorite jewelry brand is having 30% off!! Snag some Christmas gifts or just gift yourself 😉! I wear them nearly everyday.

Mimi Seabrook is having 20% off sitewide through Friday night! This was my Thanksgiving day outfit. My sweater is sold out, but they have soooo many cute things. When I need a new shirt, skirt, pair of pants- whatever- I head straight to Mimi Seabrook’s website!!

I needed more ribbon for my Christmas gifts, and I randomly found this at Kroger….

So cute, right?? I couldn't decide on just one color for this paper, so I decided to go all out!

And then I used some of the ribbon to add bows to my tree!!

I’m trying not to drink Diet Coke/Dr. Pepper right now, so I grabbed a couple of these....

This one is so good! I also tried the grape, but I liked the strawberry vanilla the best.

A healthy- ish and quick lunch item…

These are really good!

Is it normal to be in love with a jacket 🤔?!? 🤣🤣🤣

Oh well….I’m obsessed with this jacket from WALMART. It’s right at $30 but looks so much more expensive to me, plus it's super warm. I’m in a small. It also comes in a really pretty deep plum.

I've been a little tired of seeing the egg carton in my refrigerator. Soooo...

I got these ceramic trays on Amazon. Aren't they cute??

I am so so thankful for each and every one of you who come to my blog each day- it means the world to me! Have a great day!!

  1. I love egg trays and you reminded me that I need ribbon this year! I’d love to break my Diet Coke habit - good luck!

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
