  Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve....that's a thing right?? Well, this is my last post for 2023! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea one last time this year to bring you some faves from my week! I feel like this Christmas season flew by, but these quiet little moments make up for it!  Pretty wrapping paper and cute bows are basically my love language!  And it's been cold enough lately to actually bundle up a bit!  When you need something to do with your hair, why not grab a bow off the tree and pin it in your hair......yes. At the beginning of the year, I made a goal for myself to read more books. In the past, I would read maybe one or two books a year, but in 2023 I read TWENTY TWO books. For me, that's huge!! I enjoyed reading throughout the year, I read books I hated but couldn't put down, I loved books that others disliked, and I disliked books others loved. Here's a look back on everything I read....  I have been so anti-Shein for so many years, but I finally took the plunge a couple weeks ago and made a purchase. Are you a Shein shopper?? I got two sweaters, a pair of earrings, a dress, and a pair of shoes.  Bows are all the rage right now, so when I saw this sweater I immediately put it in my cart! It's pretty thin, but other than that I have no complaints.  This one really WOWED me!! It's actually pretty great quality, and so so cute! The sequins seem really well structured- I feel like they aren't going to fall off when I wash this sweater.  I grabbed these to ring in the new year, and since they were like $2, I'm not too worried about the fact that I will only wear them once!  I wanted to love this dress (and I really did!), but it was way too tight on the bottom half and big in the top half. I didn't really intend on wearing these shoes with it, but I kind of liked them together. Too bad the dress didn't work for me, but I gave it to Caleb's mo

Happy Tuesday! I haven't posted a recipe in quite some time, so here's a festive one for ya! Super easy, super festive, and super delish! If you like a classic margarita, you may like this Christmasy spin!  Ingredients:  3 oz Winter Wassail Punch (I used the one from Trader Joe's) 1 oz Tequila 0.5 oz Triple Sec Lemon Wedge to garnish (This makes one margarita.) Directions:  Add all of your ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake, and pour into a cocktail glass. I squeezed in a little of my lemon wedge, too! Enjoy!

  Merry Monday!!! ONE WEEK until Christmas, y'all!! I can't believe it! We had a very merry weekend, and I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah to share all about it! Saturday morning, my mom, Libbey, and I headed to Florida to watch my mom's BFF's daughter in The Nutcracker! We had a little time to kill when we first got there, soooo..... We ran in to Target for a little stroll with a peppermint mocha in hand!  I got these FABULOUS shoes that I'm planning to wear to Taylor Swift next fall! And speaking of Taylor... I grabbed this People magazine where she is feature as their most intriguing person of the year!  Ready to see Gracie! She had no idea we were coming, so we sent her this pic right before the show!
