Trader Joe's Haul

It's time for another Trader Joe's haul! Woohoo!! If you've been around for a while, you may know that our closest TJ's is a couple hours away in Birmingham. Last weekend, though, we went an hour longer to Huntsville, because their location is the best one in my opinion! I did really like the McKinney, TX location as well, though.

I usually go in to Trader Joe's with a list of things I've seen on Instagram/other blogs/etc., but this time I went in with zero list. I just walked up and down most of the aisles at least twice to see if anything jumped out at me.

First thing I saw were these egg bites, and I am really regretting not getting more than one pack. They are SO good!!

I grabbed these for quick and easy lunches!

Another quick and easy lunch. I haven't had this specific one, but I have tried some of their other burritos before.

I've been drinking a ton of protein shakes lately, and I thought adding fruit would be good! I'll probably also try it with just the fruit.

I tend to always grab some kind of pasta sauce. This one sounded really good, and it will be perfect with....

Heart shaped pasta! How cute??

I'm always trying to get my protein intake up! I thought this sounded good!

And I had to grab some more of these protein bars. They are literally the best! And they're sugar free!

I saw these and immediately grabbed the bag. YUM.

I've been wanting to try this kettle corn for a while, and I'm not sure why I haven't gotten it before, so I made sure to grab it this time!

Caleb got these to try. They're pretty good.

And of course, I can't leave without some wine. I had plenty of white on hand, so I grabbed a red and a rose. I've had "chicken" wine, now it's time to try "goat" wine!!! (By the way, "chicken" wine is the brand La Vieille Ferme- I've had the white and red and they're both good!) Also, for some reason I decided to do dry January, and I've actually stuck with it....buuuuut wine this weekend!!

Have a great day!!

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
