House to HOME {Part Three}

 It has been a loooong minute since we've really made any home updates, but I've got some to share with you today!

Still no new window treatments, but we did get some pretty prints above the bed! These are from MK Decker.

Praise be to the good Lord that our TV is no longer on an entryway/console table 😂!! It was really killing me. We found this at Home Store Furnishings in Starkville. They were so sweet and great to work with!

And for the table the TV used to sit on....

it is now serving it's pretty purpose here by the front door 🙂. I like to just sit and stare at it. I'm obsessed! I would love to get two small ottomans to put underneath the table, but I haven't found any that I just love or that aren't ridiculously overpriced. And now that I'm really looking at it, I'm thinking that may be too much going on. What do y'all think?

When we have our families over, only a couple of us can sit on the couch, and the rest of us are left to sit at the kitchen table or on the stairs....this new addition at least adds one more sitting option!

This chair is from Wayfair! I was super happy with the price, as well as the final product. We looked at some very similar chairs that were around $1,500, so I think this was a great compromise. I feel like our chair is a great quality and is very comfy!

And for the grand finale that, dare I say, COMPLETES our living room.....

Ahhh....isn't she so cute?? I found this while browsing Target's website, and I'm so glad I did. We were originally going for a gold/glass table, but I'm really happy that we went with the ottoman instead!

If you want to see parts one and two of my "House to HOME" series, you can find those here. Have a great day!!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
