Friday Favorites {4.5.24}

Happy Friday, friends!! I hope you all had a great week! As always, I'm here to link up with Andrea and Erika to share some faves from my week!

First up, some food faves!

I grabbed this for an easy lunch, and I will definitely be buying it again- and maybe even trying some different ones from this same brand! It was really really good!!

Now, this was my dinner on Tuesday. It does not look appetizing, I know. BUT, it really was so good! I got one of those bags of frozen fajita chicken, heated that up in a skillet with black beans, and then cooked the quinoa and sweet potatoes separately because Caleb wasn't eating either of those....dinner was ready in like 15 minutes, and it was so good! I had planned to do it over rice, but I only had quinoa at home.

I made jam again! Here's a post I made last year about my experience. Now, not so much a fave...I think I put too much sugar??? Or maybe not enough fruit? I don't know. It still tastes good and set up right, so we'll just go with it! This time I made 6 jars of strawberry, and 6 jars of blackberry.

Ok, now for some not food related faves.....

Ummmm how gorgeous is the book?? Margot Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal put together this fabulous book of all of Margot's looks (plus all the inspo!) from her "Barbie Era," and they are all just so perfect! I ordered my copy from Amazon. Also, if you aren't already, you should follow Andrew Mukamal on Instagram. One night, I went down an entire rabbit hole of Margot's stylist, makeup artist, hair people, nail girl, jewelry stylist...all of it! It's so fun to see how celebs get styled for different events!

If you didn't catch my post from Wednesday, here ya go! I'm beginning to make friendship bracelets for my Eras show in October, and I'm kind of addicted to it! It's so much fun, and I keep coming up with different ideas for what to make. I truly have to make myself stop 😂.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
