Friday Favorites {5.17.24}

 It's FriYAY! As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some favorites from the week!

I've been trying to drink less soda, and Olipop has helped me to do that! I have loved most of the flavors I've tried, and this one is a new favorite!! I got one on Sunday night, because I saw it and wanted to try it. I went back the next day and bought all they had left 😂. It's sooo good! I'm hoping it's here to stay!

Another week, another fun new nail color I'm obsessing over! It's reading very orange in this picture, but it's a little more red in person. It's OPI We Seafood and Eat It. I was on the hunt for Cajun Shrimp, but it was sold out. I thought this one was similar enough and fun for summer!

I think I have shared this cookbook from Jessie James Decker before, but I am planning to make some recipes from it next week. So, I thought I would share it again! I also love her first cookbook, Just Feed Me. Most of her recipes are super simple, quick, and healthy.

If you saw my post yesterday, you know what I was doing all day....

Watching Part One of Bridgerton Season 3. Which was SO good!! I cannot wait for June 13!

And the series finale of Young Sheldon. Ugh, I'm so sad it's over. But, it was such a cute show! If you haven't watched it, you really should! And Caleb and I may or may not have started The Big Bang Theory over again last night!

Have a great weekend!! Thanks for reading 💗💗💗

    I nearly bought that nail polish during the week, it's so pretty but I went for a blue colour.
    I really need to start watching Bridgerton, it's been on my to watch list for ages.

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
