Hello Monday {6.17.24}

 Happy Monday to ya! I had a fun weekend at my mom's house- here's what we did....

After dinner Friday night, we walked down the road to the Bentonia Blues Festival! I now have blisters on my heels....ugh...

Look who came to visit!

Fun times on the water slide! I may or may not have gotten on it, too 😂.

We went back to the Blues Festival (or the Night Fest as Reid called it!) to eat dinner. He wanted a sno cone instead of dinner...

Sunday morning coffee in my mom's cute mug from Canada while getting ready.

Reid got stung by a wasp on his foot on Saturday, so he had to prop up his feet in church- ha! He also brought along his hydrocortisone cream in his pocket. I think he applied it five times during the service 😂.

He begged to go in Sunday School with the adults (I think it was because of the donuts- can we blame him??).

I headed back home yesterday afternoon, and when I got home we ate dinner and watched TBBT.

We "needed" something sweet after we ate, so we headed to Walmart. We have a Walmart Market like 3 minutes away, and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing! These were so good though!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
