Hello Monday {7.15.24}

 Happy Monday!! I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share a bit about my weekend!

Friday morning cup of coffee! My fave!

Influenced by "Pookie" from Tik Tok! She's been eating chicken Caesar wraps from McAlisters lately, so I decided to try it. It was ok....I usually love a Caesar salad, but the dressing was a little off for me. The potato salad was fabulous as always, though!

Saturday I did some school work while Caleb worked, and then it was red beans and rice for dinner! Here's the easiest recipe ever!

Yesterday, I went the grocery store. Here are some things I found.....

A pink tube of mascara- yes please!

I had strawberry licorice from Trader Joe's a while back and loved it. This tastes almost identical! From Aldi!

Sunday baking! Here's the recipe for the BEST chocolate chip cookies in the world!

While I was making the cookies, I looked out towards the living room....

Can you tell I love a lamp??? 😂

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...
