Hello Monday {7.22.24}

 Happy Monday!! I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share all about my weekend!

Friday started off suuuuper wild....

I bout this cute little lamp from Marshalls. In case you didn't know, I'm in love with lamps ๐Ÿ˜‚.

And then it was Friday night Mexican!! Our fave one (out of 8 I think in our tiny town).

I did a little refresh in one of our guest bathrooms. I think it turned out cute and cozy!

Saturday morning, Caleb and I headed to Walmart to get a few things he needed to take to a job site on campus.

Then, Caleb's parents came into town to celebrate his birthday a little early. We ate at one of our favorite spots in Starkville!

And then got ice cream at another fave place!

I did a little school work while we all watched golf.

Caleb's grandmother sent this for me....I mean she knows me well ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I had some afternoon tea in my fancy teacup!

Sunday morning coffee and golf. I slept in until 9:45 ๐Ÿ˜†.

A pink moment ๐Ÿ’—.

I haven't eaten Jimmy Johns in yearssss, but I decided it sounded good for lunch- I had the tuna, and it was so good! But my favorite? The pickle.

Time for some golf!

We went to Mississippi State's course, and it was very pretty!

Then time for Aldi. And guess what.....we forgot a quarter. Luckily, someone gave us their cart, because it didn't have a quarter in it when they got it.

And since Aldi never has everything on the list, Kroger next.

I had a bagel with cream cheese for dinner. On the fine china. Why not??

Have a great Monday!!

  1. I need to back off the bagels; it was something I ate for a long time then cut out, but then in a moment of weakness, I ate a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and I was like, "This is what my life has been missing!"

  5. So glad to see that you use your fine china for everyday occasions, not just special occasions❤️. Isabelle von Boch, of Villeroy & Boch said it best: your fine china should be like a little black dress. You can dress it up or dress it down and get a ton of use out of it–special occasion or not!

Friday Favorites {12.8.23}

  Happy Friday, friends!! Today I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some favorites from my week!  If you missed yesterday's post, it was my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY! One year ago, I set out to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I have loved this year of blogging! If you come here each week to read my blog, THANK YOU!! I appreciate your support more than you know!  I have loved the truffles from Aldi, so when I saw these chocolates I knew I had to try them. They are AMAZING. I've been eating a bit of some each night after dinner! If you see them, grab them!  I think I feel more like an adult when I have fresh flowers in the kitchen ๐Ÿ˜‚. These red carnations are so cheerful!  A couple months ago, Caleb decided we needed an espresso machine...so on Black Friday he found one on a pretty good deal and went for it. We're considering it our Christmas to each other ๐Ÿ˜‰. Friends, I mean it when I say if I never go back to Starbucks again, I would
